Company History
In 1979, the Missoula County Commissioners established a private non-profit County Council on Aging. This council worked in conjunction with the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) covering Missoula County located in Kalispell. In 1982, Missoula Aging Services was established as a single county AAA and designated as the Area XI Agency on Aging. In 2004, Missoula Aging Services became a multi-county AAA when the Ravalli County Council on Aging petitioned the State to align with Missoula Aging Services. Today, Missoula Aging Services is one of ten AAAs in Montana and one of six hundred in the United States.
