Company Overview
The Montana Campus Compact is an eighteen campus higher education consortium, whose network office is hosted by the University of Montana. Campus Compact is a national organization with 1100 affiliates and the organization works to advance the public purposes of colleges and universities by deepening their ability to improve community life and educate students for civic and social responsibility.
Campus Compact and its host, UM provide a culture that values hard work, intellectual curiosity, diversity, collegiality, innovative thinking and teamwork, making it a great place to grow and develop professionally. Located at the heart of western Montana’s stunning natural landscape, UM attracts first rate teachers, researchers, and students from around the world.
The Montana Campus Compact has six staff members and two full-time AmeriCorps and VISTA leaders, a twenty member advisory committee and board of 18 members. The network office works hard to deliver value to each of the affiliate members, providing grants, scholarships, training, tools and more to the campus network and its partner organizations, schools and government agencies.
Company History
Montana Campus Compact was founded in 1993 by a group of college and university presidents in the state who valued campus and community engagement.
