Montana Natural Resources Youth Camp
Company Overview
The Montana Natural Resources Youth Camp presents a week long outdoor education program for up to 40 Montana youth age 14-18 every summer at Lubrecht Experimental Forest. It is our mission to teach and allow youth to experience the biological principles of how ecosystems function; perspectives on natural resource management; landownership and objectives; stewardship, conservation and recreational values; and leadership. Our educational programs and activities engage youth in dialogue, critical thinking, decision making, and an evaluation of their decisions.
Company History
MNRYC is dedicated to the education of high school age young people in a non-bias approach to the vocabulary and principles of Montana's natural resources. The organization was established in 1986 and has offered a week long outdoor education program every year since.
