Company Overview
In its 23 years of operation, Project WET has created one of the most extensive sets of original education materials in the world, designed around hands-on, interactive, science-based activities. Annually, Project WET’s global network (27 countries) conducts over 1,200 “train-the-trainer” workshops, reaching more than 20,000 school and community educators. The thousands of teachers trained in Project WET pedagogy have reached millions of students with interactive, hands-on lessons in science and sustainable water resource management. - Project WET created by the North Dakota State Water Commission
1989 to 2005
- Project WET headquarters moved to Montana State University
- Published Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide
- Established Project WET programs in all 50 states and
Washington, D.C.
- Established Project WET programs in 19 countries
- Launched other Project WET series: Kids in Discovery; Discover a
Watershed; Healthy Water, Healthy People
2005 to present
- Project WET Foundation
